Located in Angola IN, We are a group of parents, united together to provide the best homeschooling environment possible for our children. Steuben County Homeschoolers is open to all homeschoolers in the Angola area regardless of curriculum, religious affiliation (or not), and homeschool teaching method. As a group, we focus on relationships, community involvement, and inclusivity.
Our mission is to foster a culture of connection, community involvement & inclusivity for homeschoolers to develop rapport amongst each other to provide opportunities for growth.
Our vision is to facilitate opportunities & connections within the community, while acknowledging the differences in homeschooling methods and philosophies. From unschooling to classical homeschooling methods, from faith-based to secular, we are accepting and enjoy a relaxed approach to education and life.

Throughout the year, Steuben County Homeschoolers works to facilitate events for students to learn, grow, and experience. Utilizing the best our county offers, we will often join together for events, field trips, and other learning experiences in the Indiana towns of Angola, Fremont, Lagrange, and Hamilton. We have participated in events like Angola Balloons Aloft, Angola Civil War Days, Steuben County 4-H, Trine International Night, Trine University Engineering Day, the Sea Pilot Splash in (Pokagon State Park) and other Steuben County events.
Our students participate in/with organizations like the Tibbits Young Audiences (theatre - Coldwater, MI), 4-H, Tri-State ATA (taekwondo), and many others. (See our resources page for a list of top notch Angola, Indiana area resources for homeschoolers.)
